As one of De Bethune’s only “simple” timepieces, the date being the only complication here, the DB27 Titan Hawk makes no compromise on the brand’s dedication to fine handicraft and exceptional innovation. As seen through the porthole on the caseback, the in-house, double barrel S233 movement shows off the brand’s characteristic balance wheel, composed of a deep blue silicon hairspring with white gold balance wheel. Coupled with the brand’s patented triple parachute shock-absorbing bridge, the innovation and stellar finishing of the DB27 doesn’t cost the collector rugged wearability. And the lugs only add next level comfort.
With the brand’s patented floating lug system, the DB27 possesses the design that every horology enthusiast recognizes instantly. Providing a snug and comfortable fit under every possible condition, both for wrists big and small, the floating lugs are directed by an integrated drawback-spring that automatically pushes the lugs to the ideal position on the collector’s wrist.
