Voutilainen Watches Vingt-8 Chocolate

We’ve waited quite some time for one of Kari Voutilainen’s masterpieces to arrive at EsperLuxe. If you watched our interview earlier this year with Kari, then you recognize some of the incredible artisanal horology featured in this timepiece.

Voutilainen, based in the village of Môtiers, Switzerland, is known for beautiful engine turned dials, exceptional intricate finishing and creatively composed calibers.

It is a treat for us to offer this stunning chocolate dial Vingt-8 in rose gold. The dial features not one, not two, but three engine turned patterns and rose gold roman numerals applied at 12, 2, 4, 8, and 10. The hands are rose gold with Voutilainen’s signature blued steel rings on their far points.

Caliber 28 powers this exceptional watch with a Breget overcoil and massive free sprung balance. The instantly recognizable oversized Voutilainen balance bridge is mirror polished to perfection and accompanies a host of interior and exterior beveling, frosting and more mirror polishing–worked in true artisan watchmaking fashion.
