Since Edouard Meylan and his family took the helm in 2012, H. Moser & Cie.’s rise in independent watchmaking has been astounding. In just over a decade, the brand has released a slew of exceptional timepieces, established itself as a leader in hairspring innovation and manufacturing, and continues to build momentum. A pleasure to present one of the brand’s more rare timepieces, this is the Endeavor Tourbillon with Falcon’s Eye stone dial in white gold.
The Endeavor collection represents the purest expression of Moser’s design philosophy: elegant proportions, classical case architecture, and a refusal to distract from what truly matters. Measuring 40mm in diameter, the white gold Endeavor case is restrained yet substantial, with softly curved lugs and a high-polished finish that underscores its dress-watch pedigree. It is a timeless vessel, deliberately understated, designed to frame the artistry within rather than compete with it.
That artistry is immediately apparent in the dial. Crafted from natural Falcon’s Eye stone (a rare blue variation of tiger’s eye), each dial is entirely unique. Characterized by its fibrous structure and how it shimmers in light, Falcon’s Eye displays shifting waves of deep blues and steel-gray tones that change dramatically with the light. Executed in Moser’s signature “Concept” style, the dial is free of logos and indices, leaving the stone itself to take center stage. Slim leaf-shaped hands glide across the surface, reinforcing the sense of quiet confidence that defines the brand.
At six o’clock, the flying tourbillon provides the sole interruption to the dial’s purity. Suspended without an upper bridge, the one-minute tourbillon appears to float above the Falcon’s Eye surface, offering both visual depth and a measured dose of mechanical theater. Rather than dominating the design, it integrates seamlessly, serving as a reminder of the technical sophistication underpinning the watch.
Powering the Endeavor Tourbillon is the in-house HMC 804 automatic movement, visible through the sapphire caseback. Finished to Moser’s exacting standards, the movement features a skeletonized rotor and the manufacture’s proprietary double hairspring, produced entirely in-house, to improve isochronism and precision. With a power reserve of approximately three days, the caliber balances modern engineering with traditional haute horlogerie finishing.
Produced in extremely limited numbers due to the difficulty of sourcing and cutting flawless Falcon’s Eye stone, this Endeavor Tourbillon is among the most exclusive expressions of Moser’s work. It stands as a compelling synthesis of natural beauty, mechanical mastery, and radical restraint. Especially for collectors with an eye for stone dials and complicated timepieces, this Endeavor Tourbillon stands out.
This timepiece is pre-loved.
Case Diameter: 40.0 mm
Water Resistance: 3 ATM
Movement: HMC 804 Automatic Tourbillon
The HMC 804 is an automatic tourbillon movement designed to counteract the effects of gravity through two complementary mechanisms: a one-minute flying tourbillon and a patented double hairspring. The two identical hairsprings work in opposition to compensate for positional errors, enhancing chronometric stability.
Power Reserve: 72 hours
Functions: At the heart of the watch is a tourbillon conceived to improve timekeeping precision. By mounting the regulating organ and escapement within a constantly rotating cage, the mechanism minimizes the impact of gravity across different positions.
Highlight: Featuring a sunburst pattern and gradient fumé dial, this concept model embraces a refined minimalism. The dial is intentionally free of logos and markings, allowing the depth of colour and finishing to take center stage.
