Felipe Pikullik FPSK25 Regulator

When we officially partnered with Felipe Pikullik a few years ago, there was a lot to love about the young watchmaker in Berlin. We wrote about his insatiable appetite to create new timepieces and his work ethic – a combo that bodes well in independent watchmaking. Years after we published that article, it continues to age exceptionally well. Felipe Pikullik returns with another creation, the FPSK25 Regulator, launched right at the beginning of Watches & Wonders 2025. 

The first timepiece in Pikullik’s collection to feature a regulator-style indication of time (hours, minutes, and seconds separated), the FPSK25 Regulator is a masterclass in finishing and skeletonization. Large minutes in the center, hours at 12 o’clock, seconds at 6 o’clock, the hands are two-tone featuring one polished and one frosted hand to enhance legibility. The dial is notable for its overlaid, openworked frame. A single component, engraved in relief with both polished and matte surface finishes, it encompasses the minute ring around the dial, the two subdials with markers as well as a central “bridge” across the dial with the watchmaker’s logo and the timepiece’s name. It is an astoundingly beautiful piece of the watch that provides structure to read the regulator without obscuring the skeletonized movement underneath. 

Based on a Unitas movement, Pikullik transforms an ébauche movement into a spectacle. In fact, there are so many alterations to the movement that it is different to recognize where things begin for the movement. In-house manufactured, rhodium-plated bridges and mainplate, balance cock with hand-engraved floral pattern as well as barrel cap elevate the movement to the highest echelons of watchmaking at this price tier. And we haven’t even gotten to the finishing. Abundant anglage, polishing, snailing, black polished screw heads, all showcase the watchmaker’s commitment to the finest in the craft. A manual-wind caliber with 46hr power reserve, the caseback is as much a feast for the eyes as the skeletonization seen through the dial. 

Limited to 10 pieces, the FPSK25 Regulator is another stunning addition to Felipe Pikullik’s fast-growing catalog.
