Chopard L.U.C. always finds a way to blend watchmaking technical elegance with refined design. One of the shining examples of the brand’s craftsmanship, we’re pleased to present the Flying T Twin in white gold with blue dial. Limited to just 50 individually numbered pieces, this exceptional timepiece embodies contemporary sophistication while honoring the classical codes of fine Swiss watchmaking.
The 40mm case, crafted from 18k ethically sourced Fairmined white gold, measures an impressively slim 7.2mm thick. These are incredible proportions for an automatic flying tourbillon. A polished bezel contrasts with vertically satin-brushed casebands and sculpted lugs, creating subtle visual dynamism while maintaining the understated elegance expected of a true dress watch.
The dial is equally captivating. Formed from solid gold and finished in a rich blue, it features a hand-executed guilloché honeycomb motif that plays beautifully with light. A snailed chapter ring frames the center, punctuated by applied rhodium-plated hour markers and a bold Arabic numeral at 12 o’clock. Faceted Dauphine fusée-style hands sweep across the surface with crisp precision.
At 6 o’clock, the dial opens to reveal the flying tourbillon, appearing suspended without an upper bridge. Rotating once per minute and doubling as a small seconds display, the tourbillon adds both mechanical intrigue and visual poetry. This is the stamp of the watch’s haute horlogerie credentials.
Powering the piece is the in-house L.U.C Calibre 96.24-L, an ultra-thin self-winding movement equipped with Chopard’s Twin Technology system. Two stacked barrels deliver a robust 65-hour power reserve while maintaining elegant proportions. Finishing is exemplary with Geneva striping, perlage, and meticulous hand detailing throughout. The movement is both COSC-certified and bears the prestigious Poinçon de Genève (Geneva Seal) hallmark—rare distinctions that underscore its precision and craftsmanship.
A hand-stitched matte blue alligator leather strap with cognac lining and an 18k white gold pin buckle completes the composition.
Refined yet technically ambitious, the L.U.C Flying T Twin represents the convergence of artisanal decoration, chronometric performance, and mechanical complexity.
