Expanding one of its most technically significant creations, Armin Strom introduces a new Dual Time GMT Resonance in a 39mm 18K rose gold case. For the first time, this compact resonance platform is rendered in warm rose gold, offering a richer visual expression of the brand’s signature complication.

First recognized by Galileo Galilei and later explored by Christiaan Huygens, Antide Janvier, and Abraham-Louis Breguet, resonance has long fascinated horologists. Armin Strom’s modern interpretation is built specifically for the wrist.

At its core is the manual-winding manufacture calibre ARF22, developed and produced in-house. Its purpose-built, patented Resonance Clutch Spring directly synchronizes two independent balance wheels rather than relying on vibration transfer through the mainplate. Operating at 3.5 Hz (25,200 vph) with a 42-hour power reserve, the system enhances stability and transforms resonance into a practical chronometric solution.

The watch houses two fully independent movements in mirrored symmetry: two crowns, two dials, two balance wheels, two barrels, and two separate gear trains. Each time zone features its own hours, minutes, and engraved day/night indicator, making it ideal for frequent travelers.

Rose gold–colored hands and applied indices contrast against a black gold–toned grenage dial, framed by black azurage chapter rings separating the two displays. Through sapphire crystals on both sides, the movement reveals hand-polished bevels, black polishing, circular graining, perlage, and Côtes de Genève. Each piece is assembled twice to ensure precision and finishing.
