Angelus Instrument de Mesures Ivory White

An all-new release from Angelus, the Instrument de Mesures brings together some of the most useful complications in chronograph history, uniting a telemeter, pulsometer, and tachymeter within a single, elegantly executed timepiece. Inspired by the manufacture’s rich tradition of creating functional instruments, this latest release serves as the culmination of Angelus’s recent chronograph-focused creations, combining three distinct measurement scales into one highly legible design.

Housed in a refined 39mm stainless steel case, this version of the Instrument de Mesures features an ivory-white dial with blue, red, and green markings, limited to just 25 pieces. The finely grained surface, vintage-inspired syringe hands, and striking three-dimensional dial architecture are all designed to maximize clarity despite the wealth of information displayed.

The telemeter allows the wearer to calculate the distance to a sound-producing event, while the pulsometer measures heart rate based on 15 heartbeats. Completing the trio, the spiral tachymeter scale can determine average speeds ranging from 20 to 500 km/h. All functions are operated through a traditional monopusher chronograph integrated into the crown.

Powering the watch is Angelus’s in-house manual-winding Calibre A5000, featuring a column wheel and horizontal clutch architecture revered by chronograph enthusiasts. Visible through the sapphire caseback, the movement combines traditional finishing techniques with contemporary execution, reinforcing the Instrument de Mesures’ identity as both a precision instrument and a sophisticated expression of modern watchmaking.
